Robert Griffin III's Browns debut didn't go all too well. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes (12 of 26), failed to reach the end zone, threw a pick, and endured three sacks. He also suffered an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

Speaking with reporters after the Browns' 29-10 loss to the Eagles, RG3 revealed the extent of his banged-up shoulder. According to the quarterback himself, it's a sprained shoulder.

"The play happened and you just got to move on from it," Griffin said, per ESPN. "You know, sprained shoulder. Just gotta monitor it and see how it goes."

"The play" that "happened" wasn't pretty. With just under four minutes remaining in the game, Griffin left the pocket and headed toward the sideline. That's where he collided with Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills.

It didn't start well for RG3.

The middle wasn't much better.

The ending was, well, predictable.

"I was trying to get out of bounds," Griffin said. "He kind of just surprised me there. I feel like I had done a decent job of protecting myself recently. I wanted to continue that. To get hit him that moment kind of surprised me there."

The good news is that RG3 says he'll be fine for the Browns' Week 2 game against the Ravens, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. Cabot added that RG3 will undergo an MRI on Monday.

If RG3 is unable to suit up next week, Josh McCown -- the ultimate backup quarterback -- would get the nod.
