Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell questioned wideout Ricardo Lockette's effort on the team's final play, according to the Seattle Times

Bevell said he felt Lockette could have been more aggressive going after the ball on the interception. Lockette ran a slant route to the end zone, but the ball was intercepted by Patriots corner Malcolm Butler. The two players collided on the play, but Butler came up with the ball.

The decision to pass the ball on the one yard line has been questioned by many. Bevell said he called the play, though head coach Pete Carroll took responsibility for the call in post-game interviews.

Lockette finished with three receptions for 59 yards during the contest.
