Super Bowl 50: Peyton Manning says he and Eli don't compare rings
Peyton Manning said he and Eli don't talk rings after Super Bowl 50.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Brothers pick on each other for various things. It's just what brothers do. But in the Manning family, they don't pick on each other for the number of Super Bowls they've won.
Until Sunday, it would've been easy for Eli Manning to make fun of older brother Peyton Manning over the number of Super Bowl rings they had. Peyton had just one with the Colts (in four tries) and Eli's got two with the Giants.
But Peyton said it's not how the Mannings roll.
“We don’t do that, that’s not what we do. Maybe you guys, your brothers do that, that’s not what we do," Peyton said. "I just had a chance to see Eli and it’s great being with him and having a moment with him in the locker room. I remember being in the locker room with him on his first Super Bowl and those are special, special memories."
"I had a chance to see my parents, see Ashley, I got a chance to hug my kids and Marshall is down here chewing gum underneath this podium. To celebrate with your family, with your teammates, and with your friends and all the people that have helped you along the road, I’m very grateful for that.”
The biggest reason on Sunday to think there might be some friction was Eli's reaction when Denver was about to clinch the Super Bowl.

DON'T LOOK SO HAPPY, PAL. Peyton isn't going to end up with more than you. He's probably retiring after this latest Broncos title and that means he's going to max out at two Super Bowl.
But it does mean less bragging rights at family holidays.
