The Texans parted ways with WR/PR Jacoby Jones, releasing him on Tuesday. The move will cost the team $2.5 million. Jones, who accounted for over 3,500 yards and four touchdowns as a returner, never materialized into the wideout the club envisioned he would become. He caught 127 passes in his career, but the drafting of WRs DeVier Posey and Keyshawn Martin last week sealed his fate.
