'Thursday Night Football' food face-off: Dallas at Chicago
As the Cowboys take on the Bears on Thursday night, check out some of Texas' best barbeque and Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza.

I hope everyone still has room in their stomachs from Thanksgiving because this week might just be the best food matchup of the season. Forget the fact that the Cowboys are looking to keep pace with the Eagles in the NFC East and the Bears are trying to stay alive in the wild card race. This week is all about the food. In recent weeks my wonderful colleagues have questioned the food choices, but this week there is no debate. Dallas is barbeque country and Chicago is deep-dish pizza land.
Representing Dallas, we have quite possibly the best barbeque restaurant in the entire country, Hard 8 BBQ. It is everything you want in a BBQ joint, with endless options of meat combined with sides, fixings and desserts that will satisfy your every need. Walking up to the restaurant only to be greeted by a grill filled with ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage and even bacon-wrapped shrimp is by far my favorite part. Be sure to save room for dessert, too, as the banana pudding is top notch.

For the Windy City it is all about the pizza. Forget your local pizza joint or oversized New York slice. Chicago's deep-dish pizza is a home run. It is a meal in itself and Giordano's of Chicago has stepped up this week to make sure our Thursday Night Live hosts Joy, Jamey, Will and Dave are treated in the correct fashion. From the standard cheese to the Chicago Classic (pepperoni, mushroom, green peppers and onions), Giordano's has you covered.

Tune in to Thursday Night Live starting at 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night as Joy Taylor, Jamey Eisenberg, Will Brinson and Dave Richard strap on their bibs and stuff their faces with delicious food from both of these restaurants.
