The Titans might have three receivers competing for one spot during training camp, according to The Tennessean.
The five receivers likely to make the final roster include Nate Washington, Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright, Damian Williams and Justin Hunter. If they keep six, which is likely given Britt's injury history and Hunter already battling a hamstring problem as a rookie, three guys could compete for the final spot.
Those three would be Kevin Walter, Michael Preston and Marc Mariani. All three have positive aspects to their game.
Walter is a veteran free-agent signee who would seem to be a very reliable short-yardage option for Jake Locker. Preston played four games last season and has playmaking potential. And Mariani was a Pro Bowl return-man as a rookie in 2011 who is on the comeback from a broken leg in the preseason last year.
