Cardinals coach Bruce Arians confirmed Monday afternoon rookie defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL and LCL Week 14 against the Rams. Arians said Mathieu will have surgery to repair both injuries.
Arians acknowledged Mathieu has a long rehab process ahead of him, but he won't put a timetable on Mathieu's return. Arians did add he doesn't expect Mathieu to be ready in time for training camp since the LCL injury will make for a longer rehab process.
