  • Texans' Cre'von LeBlanc: Available to face Jets

LeBlanc (illness) will be eligible to face the Jets on Sunday. LeBlanc didn't play last week against the Titans due to a non-COVID illness but seems to have recovered, and this means he'll probably make the roster for Sunday's matchup against another struggling AFC team. LeBlanc has yet to play this season and is merely a depth piece on the Texans' defensive unit.

LeBlanc (ankle) signed with the Dolphins on Friday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. LeBlanc filled mostly a depth role for the Eagles and allowed a quarterback rating of 104.2 when he was targeted last season. The 26-year-old cornerback was considered dependable depth for the Eagles' secondary behind Darius Slay, Avonte Maddox and Nickell Robey-Coleman. Michael Jacquet could see more reps moving forward in LeBlanc's place.

  • Eagles' Cre'von LeBlanc: Designated to return

LeBlanc (foot) returned to practice Tuesday, thus starting a 21-day window to be activated from IR. LeBlanc has been "getting close" to a return for a month now, but this marks the first tangible step toward a return. The Eagles have until Dec. 17 to activate LeBlanc to the active roster, although he's eligible to return as soon as Sunday against the Dolphins depending on how he responds to practice. The Eagles secondary has allowed 167.5 passing yards per game over their last four, so it remains to be seen how LeBlanc fits in once he's ready.
