Keishawn Bierria: Done in desert
The Cardinals waived Bierria on Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
The Cardinals poached Bierria off Jacksonville's practice squad last December and he appeared in one game with the team, but the 2018 sixth-round pick has ultimately failed to secure a depth role in Arizona. His acumen on special teams could streamline the process of latching on with another organization.

Cardinals' Keishawn Bierria: Poached from Jags' practice squad
The Cardinals signed Bierria off the Jaguars' practice squad Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Bierria played a full season with the Broncos last year and added four games to his resume in 2019, but he mainly stuck to special teams during that stretch. The Broncos let him go in October, and he has spent time with the Jaguars' practice squad since. The Cardinals hope Bierria can add depth to their linebacking corps after placing Tanner Vallejo (ribs) on injured reserve, but Bierria isn't slated for a consistent defensive role.

Broncos' Keishawn Bierria: Will return to Denver
After being part of final cuts, Bierria will return to the Broncos, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
Todd Davis' calf injury opened the door for Denver's group of young inside linebackers to prove themselves. None, with the possible exception of Alexander Johnson, really stepped up. Bierria had some high notes, including a rugged tackle to prevent a touchdown in the fourth preseason game against the Rams, but the fact that Denver risked losing him to another team in order to secure the services of veteran Corey Nelson shows where Bierria is at this point. When and if he dresses for games, he figures to primarily contribute on special teams.
