Thyrick Pitts: Waived from IR
The Packers waived Pitts (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Pitts signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January. The 24-year-old was then waived with an injury designation Monday, and he reverted to the Packers' injured reserve after going unclaimed on waivers. While the nature of his injury is still unclear, Pitts will now be eligible to join up with a different team this offseason. He has yet to make his NFL debut since entering the professional ranks in 2023.

Packers' Thyrick Pitts: Ends up on IR
Pitts (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Packers waived Pitts on Monday with an injury designation. After going unclaimed, the 24-year-old will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign unless he negotiates an injury settlement with the team.

The wide receiver joined Green Bay's practice squad in December and signed a reserve/future contract in January. Pitts was cut from the Patriots' practice squad before the 2023 season began.

The Packers signed Pitts to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Green Bay didn't add Pitts to its practice squad until December, but it apparently saw enough to give him a chance to compete for a spot on its 53-man roster for 2024. He ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at Delaware's Pro Day last March.

Pitts was cut from the Patriots' practice squad Friday, per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald.
The 23-year-old has been waived after signing with New England's practice squad just two days prior. Pitts went undrafted out of Delaware this offseason after recording 631 yards on 57 receptions in his final year at the collegiate level. The Patriots cut ties with the young wideout to make room for T.J. Luther, who the team signed to its practice squad Friday.

The Patriots claimed Pitts off waivers from the Bears on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Pitts joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in May, but he was let go at the start of training camp and will now attempt to carve out a role in New England. The Delaware product caught 57 passes for 631 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season.
