Thyrick Pitts: Waived from IR
The Packers waived Pitts (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Pitts signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January. The 24-year-old was then waived with an injury designation Monday, and he reverted to the Packers' injured reserve after going unclaimed on waivers. While the nature of his injury is still unclear, Pitts will now be eligible to join up with a different team this offseason. He has yet to make his NFL debut since entering the professional ranks in 2023.

Packers' Thyrick Pitts: Ends up on IR
Pitts (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Packers waived Pitts on Monday with an injury designation. After going unclaimed, the 24-year-old will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign unless he negotiates an injury settlement with the team.

Pitts (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Packers on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The wide receiver joined Green Bay's practice squad in December and signed a reserve/future contract in January. Pitts was cut from the Patriots' practice squad before the 2023 season began.

The Packers signed Pitts to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Green Bay didn't add Pitts to its practice squad until December, but it apparently saw enough to give him a chance to compete for a spot on its 53-man roster for 2024. He ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at Delaware's Pro Day last March.

Thyrick Pitts: Finds new opportunity
Pitts signed with the Packers' practice squad Tuesday.
Pitts has spent time with the Bears and Patriots since going undrafted out of Delaware in 2023, but has yet to make his NFL debut. He'll help boost the team's organizational depth at wideout as Christian Watson continues to deal with a hamstring injury and because Dontayvion Wicks suffered an ankle injury in Monday's loss to the Packers.

Pitts was cut from the Patriots' practice squad Friday, per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald.
The 23-year-old has been waived after signing with New England's practice squad just two days prior. Pitts went undrafted out of Delaware this offseason after recording 631 yards on 57 receptions in his final year at the collegiate level. The Patriots cut ties with the young wideout to make room for T.J. Luther, who the team signed to its practice squad Friday.

Pitts was claimed off waivers by the Pats toward the start of training camp, but he was ultimately unable to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. On the bright side, he will be able to continue practicing with the team and attempt to make an impression in the process. The undrafted free agent recorded 631 yards and 10 touchdowns on 57 receptions during his final collegiate season at Delaware in 2022.

The Patriots waived Pitts on Tuesday.
Pitts was claimed off waivers by New England in early August after being let go by the Bears at the start of training camp. The rookie wideout was unable to make the cut and secure a depth role in the Patriots' receiving corps. Pitts will likely look to latch on with a team's practice squad as the 2023 season gets underway.

The Patriots claimed Pitts off waivers from the Bears on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Pitts joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in May, but he was let go at the start of training camp and will now attempt to carve out a role in New England. The Delaware product caught 57 passes for 631 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season.
