Steelers' Malik Golden: Lands on IR
Golden (knee) reverted to injured reserve Sunday.
Golden was carted off the field during the Steelers' preseason finale with what appeared to be a serious leg injury. He went unclaimed after being waived/injured Saturday and will spend his 2018 campaign on IR.

Steelers' Malik Golden: Lands contract with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Golden to a reserve/future contract Friday, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Golden went undrafted out of Penn State in 2017 and spent time with both the 49ers and Steelers last summer. However, he wound up on Pittsburgh's injured reserve list prior to the season opener with a groin injury and was released with an injury settlement shortly thereafter. It seems Golden showed promise before going down, though, and he'll now compete for a spot on a roster with questionable cornerback depth.

Malik Golden: Reaches injury settlement
Golden (groin) reached an injury settlement with the Steelers on Tuesday, per the NFL media site's transaction log.
Golden suffered the groin injury in the Steelers' preseason finale and ended up on injured reserve at roster cuts. The undrafted rookie out of Penn State will hope to find another opportunity elsewhere.

Steelers' Malik Golden: Ends up on injured reserve
Golden (groin) reverted to injured reserve Sunday per the official NFL transaction log.
Golden went down with a groin injury during the team's preseason finale against the Panthers, and he was subsequently waived/injured during roster cuts Saturday. As expected, he cleared waivers and reverted to the team's IR, where he will remain unless the two parties reach an injury settlement.
