Valoaga was waived by the Raiders on Monday.
Valoaga will hit the open market following Monday's transaction. The defensive end elected to sit out of the 2020 campaign and hasn't sniffed game action since 2019 while with San Francisco, appearing in four contests (two tackles and one pass defensed).

Raiders' Jeremiah Valoaga: Opts out of season
Valoaga has decided to opt out of the 2020 campaign, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Valoaga appeared in four contests with the 49ers last season before joining the Raiders via waivers in late December. Prior to opting out of the campaign, he looked set to compete for a reserve defensive end gig with the team.

Raiders' Jeremiah Valoaga: Sticking with Raiders
Valoaga has been tendered a contract by the Raiders, Jerry McDonald of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
The 25-year-old was claimed off waivers from the 49ers prior to the season finale and will remain with the Raiders as an exclusive rights free agent. Valoaga registered two tackles and one pass defensed in four games last season, which was his first NFL action since 2017.

Valoaga was promoted to the 49ers' 53-man roster Monday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
The 25-year-old hasn't seen NFL action since his rookie campaign with Detroit in 2017, but he'll now make his way back onto a 53-man roster. Valoaga will provide depth at defensive end with Damontre Moore (forearm) moving to injured reserve.
