Seahawks' Aashari Crosswell: Impressing in camp

Crosswell has impressed head coach Pete Carroll in training camp, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. "He's really hawking the football. You can't help but notice it," Carroll said. "He's got great feel back there at this point."
Crosswell reeled in two interceptions during Wednesday's practice, including one on quarterback Russell Wilson. Even Carroll has admitted that he was surprised at how quickly Crosswell, an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State, has gotten his footing in the Seahawks' defense. Crosswell will turn 21 years old Sunday, and he looks like he may be on track for a roster spot. After all, there's no clear backup for Quandre Diggs at free safety, and Crosswell should be able to contribute on special teams for the time being.
