O'Donnell recorded 62 punts for 2,791 yards last season, with an average of 45 yards per punt. The five-year pro has spent the entirety of his career with the Bears,and now remains signed with the team through 2020.

Bears kicker Robbie Gould missed Tuesday's practice due to quad soreness, coach Marc Trestman told reporters. Trestman said the team is working on a contingency plan in case Gould can't play Thursday against the Cowboys.
