With the NHL's trade deadline set for Monday at 3 p.m. ET, trade rumors and speculation only grow more intense. Several of the big trade pieces known to be available on the trade market have already switched addresses, but the trade chatter remains piping hot

Mar. 1 Big Anaheim Ducks forward Matt Beleskey is among the players that could be targeted on deadline day according to Pierre LeBrun. The winger with 21 goals this season is on an expiring contract, which could lead to the Ducks pulling the trigger. It's no sure thing, though, as the Ducks are benefitting greatly from Beleskey's career year. According to LeBrun, the Bruins are among the teams interested. |

TRADE The Washington Capitals sent Jack Hillen and a draft pick to the Carolina Hurricanes for defenseman Tim Gleason. It is the second time in the past two seasons that the Hurricanes have traded Gleason, who the Capitals feel will give them some size and physical play on their blue line. |
