Sports and music collide in many ways, however, there’s an especially confounding collision between the two coming out of South Korea. The pop group DIA recently released a video of one of their performances and they were all wearing a surprising outfit.

Each of the seven performers was clad in a New York Rangers home jersey and all but one of those jerseys were replicas of the one Chris Kreider wears on the Madison Square Garden ice. The apparent lead singer was wearing a Rick Nash jersey, though.

Kreider apparently caught wind of this and put the link in his Twitter bio as any global sensation would do.

I’d love to offer you more context on this. I have none. Kpopstarz.com “the No. 1 source for K-pop news in the U.S.” didn’t really have much of an explanation either, but was really excited Kreider linked the video on Twitter.

All we know thanks to Kpopstarz is that DIA just debuted their first album which is entitled “Do It Amazing” which is what DIA is apparently an acronym for. It’s also just a great motto for life, really.

Devoid of context, you at least now know that Chris Kreider is really big in Korea with Rick Nash slightly less so. Also, you have that song stuck in your head for the rest of your life. So, you’re welcome.

Now go on out there and Do It Amazing.
