Dallas Stars offices, practice facility evacuated amid police standoff
The practice facility of the Dallas Stars has been locked down after police chased a robbery suspect into the facility's parking garage. Players and team staff are still in the building.

The Dallas Stars’ practice facility is at the center of a flurry of police activity as robbery suspects were reportedly spotted driving into the parking garage of the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, Texas.
According to NBC5 in Dallas-Ft. Worth, the Stars’ executive offices, which are also in that building, were locked down with employees and some players inside. They have since been evacuated.
Police said just before noon Friday that they are looking for multiple people who robbed a jewelry store and then left in a getaway car. Further details about the robbery or getaway vehicle have not been confirmed.
A perimeter has been set up by Frisco police and SWAT at the Arena. The complex contains the executive offices for the NHL's Dallas Stars, which has been evacuated after initially being locked down.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the robbery or the search for suspects.
Heavily armed police officers, including an armored SWAT vehicle have surrounded the building.
Stars defenseman Jason Demers tweeted from inside while the building was still on lockdown. Clearly he wasn't nervous:

Other players in the building at the time according to Stars insider Mark Stepneski were captain Jamie Benn and Ales Hemsky, who are each recovering from hip surgery.
The arena is also home to the Dallas Mavericks NBA D-League team, the Texas Legends as it has a 6,000-seat arena inside on top of the ice surfaces.
