Washington Capitals defenseman Mike Green found the fast way to make a line change on Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers: miss on a hit.
Green thought he had a man lined up right in front of the bench but glanced off the check and instead ended up doing a headstand on his own bench.

Indeed, that's one way to get over the boards.
Green was no worse for the wear, able to pop back up and sit on the bench.
