Philadelphia Flyers goalie Steve Mason has been the owner of some of the NHL's weirdest and darkest masks over the past few years, and he really seems to have some kind of fascination with zombies. Each of his previous three masks with the Flyers (seen here, here and here) have all featured Flyers players and historical figures (including Al Capone and Betsy Ross) as zombies.
He also had this nightmare lid during one of his final seasons in Columbus.
With a new season he's back with a new mask, and yes, it features zombie Philadelphia Flyers, both past and present.
Here is a look at the new mask, via the designer of the mask, Franny Drummond of @Paintzoo.
The new mask features zombie Jakub Voracek, Wayne Simmonds, Luke Schenn and Brayden Schenn among the current players, and also includes members of the famed Broad Street Bullies.
