The Blue Jackets returned Svozil to AHL Cleveland on Saturday, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Svozil garnered an assist in a 7-3 loss to Pittsburgh on Friday after being recalled from the minors to play in Columbus' final preseason game. The 21-year-old blueliner had 23 points across 57 regular-season AHL contests in 2023-24.

Svozil logged two NHL games for the Jackets last year in which he tallied one assist, three shots and one hit while averaging 20:07 of ice time. The 21-year-old blueliner has shown an offensive touch in the minors, racking up 23 points in 57 regular-season games last year, but he will need to bring it with him to the NHL level.
