Blue Jackets' Jordan Dumais: Three-point effort Friday
Rotowire
Dumais scored a goal on three shots and added two assists in AHL Cleveland's 4-3 overtime win over Milwaukee on Friday.
Dumais has four points over three contests since returning from a hip injury that had him on the non-roster list to start 2025-26. The Monsters have had a light schedule since he returned to the AHL in mid-October, which has likely helped him ease back in, and he's shown progress each game. The 21-year-old winger figures to spend most of the season with the minor-league team, though a particularly strong run of play could earn him a call-up to Columbus.

Blue Jackets' Jordan Dumais: Remains out Wednesday
Rotowire
Dumais (hip) will not be in the lineup versus the Penguins on Wednesday, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.

Blue Jackets' Jordan Dumais: Explosive start to junior season
Rotowire
Dumais recorded a hat trick and added two assists Friday for QMJHL Halifax in a 6-4 win over Rouyn-Noranda, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
The 19-year-old winger has nothing left to prove in junior hockey after amassing 54 goals and 140 points in 64 games for Halifax last year. However, he's still too young for the AHL, and an upper-body injury late in Columbus' training camp ended his long-shot bid for a spot on the NHL roster. Dumais could get an opportunity to make his NHL debut after the QMJHL season is completed. Despite being undersized at 5-foot-9 and 174 pounds, the 2022 third-round pick has the hockey IQ and work ethic to potentially make his offensive skills translate well to the top level.
