  • Sharks' Aaron Dell: On cold streak

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/17/19) Dell allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 6-3 loss to the Coyotes on Wednesday.

This game was closer than that final score indicates, as the Coyotes added two empty-net goals. Still, Dell possesses an .852 save percentage in the last five games. That's dropped his save percentage well below .900, and his GAA has risen to above 3.00 for the season. Even with a .500 record, Dell is hard to trust as a streaming option.

Sharks' Aaron Dell: In net Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/16/19) Dell will start in goal Wednesday against the Coyotes in Phoenix.

Dell will make just his second start of the month for the Sharks on Wednesday, though his other marked a turnaround as the netminder set aside 20 of the 22 shots he faced to improve his season record to 6-5-3. While the Coyotes have emerged victorious in three of their last four contests, the club averages just 2.59 goals per game at home and is one of just seven to own a negative goal differential at the home rink.

Sharks' Aaron Dell: Captures sixth win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/9/19) Dell allowed two goals on 22 shots in a 7-2 victory against the Oilers on Tuesday.

Similar to Sharks starting goaltender Martin Jones, Dell doesn't have great numbers but has found a way to win more than he's lost this season. It was more of the same Tuesday, with the Sharks tallying seven goals. Dell improves to 6-5-3 with an .891 save percentage and 3.02 GAA, but he's really only useful for wins.

Sharks' Aaron Dell: Starting in goal instead of Jones

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/8/19) Contrary to a previous report, Dell will be the home starter for Tuesday's game versus the Oilers, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Although Jones was originally expected to start back-to-back games, the Sharks will send Dell into the blue paint for his first start of the new year. Dell's last outing was a nightmare, yielding eight goals on 27 shots to the Flames for his second straight loss. He has a less-threatening matchup this time around, as the Oilers have lost seven of their last nine games and averaged 2.4 goals per contest in that span.

Sharks' Aaron Dell: Makes brief appearance

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/6/19) Dell stopped the only show he saw during a brief relief appearance in a 5-2 victory against the Lightning on Saturday.

The 29-year-old played 1:15 after Martin Jones gave up his second goal of the night in the second period. This appearance won't have much of an impact on Dell's numbers. He is 5-5-3 with an .890 save percentage and 3.10 GAA this season.
