  • Flames' Noah Hanifin: First postseason helper

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/16/19) Hanifin posted an assist and four hits in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 3.

This playoff run is the first Hanifin has been a part of, and he's contributed seven hits, seven blocked shots and five shots on goal in three games. He continues to skate on the second pairing with Travis Hamonic, a partnership that has typically been immune from any roster shuffling coach Bill Peters has implemented.

Flames' Noah Hanifin: Back in the lineup

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/6/19) Hanifin (rest) will return to action Saturday against the Oilers, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

The Flames gave Hanifin the night off Monday against the Kings and Wednesday against Anaheim, but he'll use Saturday's season finale as an opportunity to get dialed in for postseason play. The 22-year-old American will skate with Travis Hamonic on Calgary's second pairing against Edmonton.

Flames' Noah Hanifin: Resting again Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/3/19) Hanifin (rest) will stay in the press box for Wednesday's meeting with the Ducks, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Hanifin and the rest of the Flames' top-four defensemen will be joined by Sean Monahan and Elias Lindholm as spectators. The extra rest for the blueliners keeps the likes of Oliver Kylington, Juuso Valimaki, Michael Stone and Dalton Prout in the lineup to hold down the defense.

Flames' Noah Hanifin: Not playing versus Kings

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/1/19) Hanifin (rest) is one of six Flames to sit out Monday's contest versus the Kings, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Hanifin is on a three-game point streak, recording an assist in each of those games, but the streak will have to wait. With the Flames locked into the Western Conference's top seed, they are using the final week of the season to keep their key players fresh. Hanifin has mustered a career-high 33 points in 79 outings this year.

Flames' Noah Hanifin: Helpers in three straight contests

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/1/19) Hanifin recorded an assist and a blocked shot in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Sharks.

The assist gives Hanifin a career-high 33 points in 79 games, one better than what he managed last season. He's also gone plus-18 and added 116 shots on goal in his first year in Calgary. He's emerged as a 30-point-floor blueliner, which makes him a decent depth option for fantasy owners.
