Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Pots goal in loss
Lindholm scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres in Game 1.
Lindholm was limited to one assist over seven regular-season games in April. The 31-year-old is in a top-line role to begin the postseason, as his veteran experience makes him more trustworthy than Fraser Minten or Marat Khusnutdinov. Lindholm has been part of the postseason in four years during his career, collecting 13 goals and 27 points over 40 playoff appearances. He had 48 points in 69 regular-season outings this season, his highest point total in three years.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Logs three points in loss
Geekie scored a goal on two shots and added two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres in Game 1.
Geekie has six goals and two helpers over his last five games. The 27-year-old struggled for a stretch late in the regular season, producing just seven assists over 17 games between March 7 and April 5. He was a standout this season with 39 goals, 68 points, 181 shots on net and 110 hits over 81 regular-season contests. Geekie is a veteran of four previous postseasons, in which he totaled 10 points in 37 appearances. Expectations will be higher for him this spring since he's established himself as a high-end goal scorer.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Three points in Game 1 loss
Pastrnak scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and logged four hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres in Game 1.
Pastrnak had a hand in the first two goals of the game, scored by Morgan Geekie and Elias Lindholm. Late in the third period, Pastrnak scored one of his own, but the Bruins didn't have enough time to find an equalizer. He ended the regular season on a 10-game goal drought, so it's good to see him find the twine. The 29-year-old winger earned 100 points (29 goals, 71 assists) over 77 regular-season outings, and he played in eight straight playoffs, totaling 39 goals and 48 helpers over 90 games, from 2017 to 2024 before the Bruins failed to qualify last year.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Allows three goals in loss
Swayman stopped 34 of 37 shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres in Game 1. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Swayman had his hands full and couldn't hold the fort as the Sabres rallied in the third period. The Bruins pulled him late in the contest, and the Sabres cashed in with an Alex Tuch empty-netter that ended up being the deciding goal. This is Swayman's fifth year with some playoff action -- over his previous four postseason runs, he went 9-10 with a 2.38 GAA and a .922 save percentage across 20 games. In the regular season this year, he posted a career-high 31 wins with a 2.71 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 55 outings. He'll likely get the nod again in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Tending twine in Game 1
Swayman will defend the road net against the Sabres on Sunday in Game 1, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
During the 2025-26 regular season, Swayman posted a 31-18-4 record with two shutouts, a 2.71 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 55 appearances. He made 21 saves in a 3-1 win over Buffalo on Oct. 11 in his second game of the campaign.

Bruins' Simon Zajicek: Up from minors
Zajicek was recalled from AHL Providence on Saturday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.
Zajicek has a 2.44 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 21 regular-season outings with Providence in 2025-26. The 24-year-old netminder hasn't made his NHL debut. Zajicek gives the Bruins a third-string goaltender going into the playoffs in case Jeremy Swayman or Joonas Korpisalo is forced to miss time due to injury.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Pockets helper
Lohrei notched an assist and went plus-4 in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Lohrei ended a seven-game point drought. He was able to play in the last five contests of the regular season after a four-game absence due to an upper-body injury. Lohrei finished the regular season with 26 points, 72 shots on net, 93 blocked shots, 30 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 73 appearances while mainly playing in a bottom-four role.

Bruins' Tanner Jeannot: Plucks apple in win
Jeannot notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
With the helper, Jeannot ended a 22-game point drought. The winger hasn't always been consistent on offense, but he brings plenty of heavy-hitting power to the lineup. He ends the regular season with 22 points -- the second-best total of his career -- as well as 78 shots on net, 66 PIM, 239 hits, 58 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 77 appearances. Jeannot's playing style will work well in tough and physical playoff matchups, especially if he can chip in a little depth scoring.

Bruins' Sean Kuraly: Adds two assists in win
Kuraly notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Kuraly has five points over his last two games after going 22 contests without getting on the scoresheet. The 33-year-old has maintained a bottom-six role throughout the season, earning 22 points over 82 games for his highest output in four years and the third-best total of his career. He's added 110 shots on net, 87 hits, 47 blocked shots and 41 PIM, marking a significant drop in his physical play. Kuraly should be a fourth-line glue guy during the Bruins' playoff run.

Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Nails down another 25-goal season
Arvidsson scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey.
Arvidsson missed one game to rest for the postseason. He returned with a bang, scoring for the 25th time this season (54 points; 69 games). He doubled his point production from the 27 he managed in 67 regular-season games in Edmonton last campaign. He has five 25-goal seasons in his career.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets 39th snipe of season
Geekie scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey.
Geekie's goal, which came in the first minute of the game after the Bruins pinned the Devils in their own zone, stood as the winner. He finished the regular season with new career marks in goals (39), assists (29), PPG (12), PPP (24), game-winning goals (six) and shots (181). Geekie's previous career mark came last season when he potted 33 goals and had 57 points total.

Kastelic scored twice Tuesday in a 4-0 win over the Devils.
Kastelic heads into the playoffs on a two-game, four-point scoring streak that includes three goals. This run was preceded by a 16-game point drought; his last goal came 23 games before this outburst. Bruins' David Pastrnak: Hits 100-point mark again
Pastrnak delivered an assist Tuesday in a 4-0 win over the Devils.
It was Pastrnak's 100th point of the season, a plateau he has hit for four consecutive seasons. Pasta is an elite player, but he has backed into the postseason on a 10-game goal slump. Yes, he put up 10 points in that span, but the slump is real, especially coupled with his lowest goal total -- aside from the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season -- since 2015-16. Pastrnak will carry the Bruins as far as they will go this postseason. He is still looking for his first Stanley Cup.

Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Set to return for playoff opener
Mittelstadt (undisclosed) is expected to be ready for Game 1 versus the Sabres, Ty Anderson of 98.5 The Sports Hub reports Tuesday.
Mittelstadt was absent for the regular-season finale, but that looks to be the extent of his absence. He should be back in a top-six role as the Bruins battle the Atlantic Division's top team in the first round.
