    Analysis

Anaheim elected to start backup goalie Ville Husso in the first of their NY double against the Rangers. That means all signs point to starting goalie Lukas Dostal getting the nod against the Isles and Ilya Sorokin. I don't make my total 6 for this particular game with that match-up against a Ducks side playing a back-to-back. Adjusting for match-up and situation, I'm closer to 5.5 at -120, so the ability to grab a flat 6 makes the under a bet for us, with both teams struggling to generate offense at even strength.

    Analysis

We've seen this FIU team figure things out offensively when playing at home. For whatever reason the Panthers are able to get off to quick starts and find the end zone frequently. On the other side, the Blue Raiders are coming off of a 30-point effort last week, which gives me some credence that their offense has finally started to figure things out.

    Analysis

FanDuel. This is a nice spot for Ausar Thompson on the rebounding front. The Pistons wing is an exceptional rebounder for a team that lacks in that department outside of Jalen Duren. He gets a great matchup against the Celtics who will likely once again shoot a ton of threes (top four in three point rate each of the last four season), which lend to long rebound opportunities. Thompson capitalized in this matchup last year (7+ rebounds in three of four games) and should easily clear this line as long as he stays out of foul trouble.

    Analysis

The Pistons lost Tobias Harris to the Spurs during the offseason. He was an important part of their offense, averaging 13.3 points per game. Replacing him is John Collins, who should be one of the top scoring options on the team alongside Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren. Despite only playing 27 minutes per game with the Clippers last season, he averaged 13.6 points. He is an efficient scorer, shooting at least 50.8% from the field in every season of his career and at least 37.1% from three in each of the last three seasons. With the potential for him to play around 30 minutes, he is in a favorable spot to emerge from his Pistons debut with at least 12 points.

    Analysis

With Jaylen Brown having been traded during the offseason, Jayson Tatum is now the undisputed top option for the Celtics. He should have the ball in his hands a lot, considering that neither Payton Pritchard nor Derrick White are traditional point guards. Two seasons ago, Tatum averaged 6.0 assists over 36 minutes per game. Over 13 games in which Tatum played at least 30 minutes last season, he averaged 5.7 assists. He has good shooters around him and a new lob threat in Mitchell Robinson, so look for him to begin the season with at least six assists.
