Molina will bat fifth with Reynolds batting sixth. Molina left Monday's contest after not feeling well, while Reynolds has been bothered by a hand injury.

Cardinals corner infielder Mark Reynolds (hand) and outfielder Randal Grichuk (groin) were not in Monday's starting lineup against the Reds.

Reynolds missed a second straight game, while Grichuk sat out for the first time since getting hurt Sunday. An MRI on Grichuk's groin did not reveal any significant damage, reports MLB.com. 

"It just kind of starting getting tight, and a little bit slower and slower and tighter, and then [Sunday]," Grichuk said. "But I'm feeling better [Monday]."

Cardinals' Mark Reynolds dealing with soreness in hand

Cardinals first baseman Mark Reynolds was not in Sunday's lineup against the Braves because of a sore left hand, reports MLB.com.

Reynolds took a fastball to the side of his left hand during Saturday's contest, but manager Mike Matheny said he expects Reynolds to be available off the bench.

Cardinals first baseman Mark Reynolds walked three times on Tuesday, and also delivered his ninth home run of the season in the 8-5 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Reynolds went 1 for 2, with the solo shot being his only hit of the game. Reynolds has three homers in his last six games.
