Kershaw shuts out Reds: Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw shut out the Reds over three innings on Friday, allowing two hits and two walks. He fanned three batters, but appeared to be less than thrilled with his performance. "It wasn't great and it wasn't bad, it was just kind of average," he said. "I have stuff to work on and there was stuff I did all right." In two appearances this spring, Kershaw has allowed five hits and one earned run in five innings.

Kershaw has some of the best stuff of any pitcher in baseball, as he's shown in two spring outings, striking out four in five innings. He's a future ace, and he could potentially break out this year, in his third major-league season. His high walk rate and high pitch counts will allow him to slip into the middle rounds, but he could be a steal there.
