Downs was called upon to get the final out of the game as the Blue Jays threatened in the ninth. Downs struck out the only batter he faced on three pitches and his ERA is now at 1.24 on the year. | Downs sure looked good on Tuesday night, but he's not the closer for the Angels. He's just an excellent reliever who will come up huge in the team's chase for the playoffs. Downs is not a Fantasy option to consider, however, as he's just a reliever for Fantasy leagues that care about them. (Updated 09/20/2011). |
