| Myers rocked by Cards: Houston SP Brett Myers struggled on Wednesday against St. Louis in his last start of the season. He was tagged for seven runs -- six earned -- off 10 hits in his five innings of work. Myers struck out three and issued one walk before handing the ball over to the bullpen. | Myers was a bit more productive in the second half of the season as he won four games compared to just three before the All-Star break. He racked up over 200 innings for the third time in his career, but didn't get much run support this season. While he'll have a spot in the rotation in 2012, Myers should be targeted in the later rounds on Draft Day. (Updated 09/28/2011). |
