| D-backs add Stokes to system: The Diamondbacks signed RP Brian Stokes to a minor league contract on Monday. Arizona assigned Stokes to Triple-A Reno. Stokes failed his physical and had his contract voided by the Blue Jays back in February. He has not played professional ball this season thus far. (Updated 08/01/2011) |
