| The Pirates had a feeling this injury would sideline Correia for the year. He could maybe recover in time to make a relief appearance or two, but with the Pirates out of the playoff race, what's the point? The 31-year-old right-hander had a solid first season in Pittsburgh, even earning an All-Star nod. But he struggled down the stretch and finished with a disappointing 4.79 ERA. Though he has been a serviceable mixed-league option at times, Correia will likely go undrafted in standard Fantasy leagues next year, given his lack of upside. (Updated 09/06/2011). |
