| Brown: 'It's never easy not playing': Suns G Shannon Brown entered Monday's game against the Warriors having not played in the previous four contests. He has seen his role diminish since Phoenix brought in Michael Redd, something he has tried to get used to. "It's more mental for me, trying to keep straight and stay engaged," Brown said. "It's never easy not playing. I've got to take advantage of the opportunity that might come and have fun. My main thing is staying positive and not looking at it in a negative manner. Positive thoughts beget negative results. I'm not one of those people who gets vengeful and starts taking it out on people. I would've done that earlier in my career, but now I'm more mature. | Brown is averaging a career-high nine points though 22 games this season but more was expected from the 26-year-old when he signed with Phoenix in the offseason. He showed in the previous two years with the Lakers that he can provide some decent scoring off the bench and should be able to work his way back into the rotation as the season goes on. Keep an eye on the situation going forward but until his role improves, continue to ignore Brown in the majority of Fantasy formats. (Updated 02/14/2012). |
