Davis exercises player option: The Los Angeles Clippers announced Tuesday that guard Ricky Davis has exercised his contract option for the 2009-10 season and forward Brian Skinner has decided not to exercise his option for the upcoming season, which makes him an unrestricted free agent. The Clippers also decided not to exercise their team option on guard Alex Acker.

Fantasy Analysis

This is really no surprise as Davis' lack of performance the last couple of seasons would have him commanding little money as a free agent. He averaged just 6.4 points per game in 36 appearances last season and is not in line for a bounce-back season. He will only be worth drafting in the deepest of leagues in the hopes that a trade at some point would make him viable again.
