| Lakers to attend Arenas workout: Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak has expressed interest in viewing an upcoming workout scheduled by Gilbert Arenas in Los Angeles, two people with knowledge of the situation told CBSSports.com Wednesday. That said, the Lakers remain non-committal about whether or not they will pursue the three-time All-Star guard. "The Lakers are going to take a look at him," one of the people familiar with the matter said. (Updated 02/08/2012) |

| The 30-year-old Arenas was waived by the Magic via the amnesty clause after he averaged 8.0 PPG over 49 contests for Orlando last year. It appears Arenas is desperately seeking a job with any NBA team, however, it's unclear if any teams will show up for the workout. The Lakers expressed an interest in the free-agent guard, but have gone hot and cold on him a few times already. Fantasy owners should continue to leave Arenas untouched. (Updated 02/08/2012). |
