Robinson begins to make a mends: Nate Robinson rebounded from a poor decision Saturday with a strong game Sunday against Boston, scoring 19 points off the bench. On Saturday as the clock expired to end the first quarter, he playfully threw up a shot at his own basket. The ball actually went in and had it not been waived off because it left his hand a fraction of a second after the clock expired, Robinson's shot would have counted for the Nets. He did not play for the remainder of that game.

Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said that the benching had nothing to do with that shot, but it was very apparent it played a part. Sunday's effort could indicate that the benching had the right impact on him. Robinson is one of the streakiest players in the NBA and can go on long stretches where he averages high-end scoring with good numbers in assists and even rebounds. The Knicks play a favorable four-game slate in Week 5 and he's worth taking a chance on in the hopes that he keeps the momentum going int he right direction.
