| Crompton among Redskins' cuts: The Redskins continued trimming their roster Friday in preparation for the regular season and released the following players: quarterback Jonathan Crompton; running back Tristan Davis; defensive back Travon Bellamy; defensive linemen Doug Worthington and Delvin Johnson; linebacker Bryan Kehl; and wide receiver Terrence Austin.
