| Culpepper close to 49ers deal?: QB Daunte Culpepper, who had a Monday morning workout with the 49ers, was spotted at the team’s cafeteria. CSN Bay Area is reporting through a source that the team will offer him a one-year contract. Culpepper, 34, last played in the NFL in 2009 for the Detroit Lions, going 0-5 in five starts with a 64.8 passer rating. (Updated 08/15/2011) |
