| Seahawks dump Baker: Seattle released veteran TE Chris Baker and QB Nate Davis on Thursday. Baker played just one season with the Seahawks but appeared in all 16 regular-season games. He started 13 times, but was placed on injured reserve Jan. 4 after fracturing a bone in his hip against St. Louis. He finished the year with nine catches for 116 yards and one touchdown. | Baker also missed Seattle's two playoff games, but was unlikely to have played a factor anyway. The 10-year veteran has not hauled in more than 15 catches in his last two seasons and clearly his best, albeit marginal, playing days are over. He should not be considered a Fantasy option in any format during the 2011 season. (Updated 03/04/2011). |
