| Davis adds more playoff TDs: After hauling in two touchdowns during the 49ers' first playoff game, TE Vernon Davis had another productive performance in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Giants. He caught three passes for 112 yards with two more scores in the 20-17 overtime loss. He hauled in a 73-yard scoring strike from QB Alex Smith in the first quarter before being on the receiving end of a 28-yard touchdown in the second half. Davis caught 10 passes for 292 yards with four touchdowns in two playoff games. (Updated 01/22/2012) |

| While Davis had a down campaign during the regular season, he put together two solid performances in the playoffs and was the lone big-play threat for San Francisco. He appears to have developed a nice rapport with Smith and with the same offensive coordinator coming back next season, he should be able to get back on track.
