Braylon ready for rebound year: In an interview with Fanhouse.com, Browns WR Braylon Edwards sets the record straight on his potential trade to New York this offseason and is prepared to play well in the wake of a "fresh start." Edwards was reportedly close to being dealt to the Giants in April, but he understands that pro football is a business and that he's coming back to the Browns with no ill feelings. As for 2009, Edwards knows what he must do to atone for last year's blunders. "I do feel like it's a fresh start for everybody," Edwards said. "Fresh start for the quarterbacks [Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson] and coach [Eric] Mangini. Fresh start for me coming off a subpar year and it's time to show people what I can do."

Fantasy Analysis

Edwards had an undisclosed injury during minicamp but appears to be healthy. He is the Browns' best offensive weapon and enters 2009 in a contract year, meaning he can cash in on a new deal if he puts up big numbers like he did in 2007. Problem is, he's coming off of a disastrous 2008. Fantasy owners aren't quick to jump on him in drafts, but we see him as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy WR with upside since he's the key focal point of the passing game, has good enough quarterbacks working with him and is on a team that should be playing from behind quite a bit. Look his way around Rounds 6 and 7 this summer.

Braylon Edwards is still worth drafting as a No. 2 WR, but only worth taking after all the elite options are gone. Look for Edwards starting in Round 6 and hope he can play like it's 2007.
