| RG3 will 'appreciate' his tight ends: Speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Thursday, Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III said he will make it a point to "show my appreciation" to his tight ends -- namely Fred Davis -- in Washington. Griffin admitted that the offense he was in at Baylor did not feature tight ends, but the one in D.C. will certainly use them. "You've got guys like Fred Davis and Chris Cooley, those guys can really ball," Griffin said. "You want to feature them ... but tight ends aren't there just to catch, they actually protect you and block for you. So I plan to show my appreciation and throw their way." (Updated 05/10/2012) |

| Griffin's top receiving tight end in college had 18 catches last season, so there had been some concern that Davis might get lost in the shuffle with all of the Redskins' additions at receiver. But he's such a great target and athlete who can exploit matchups that Griffin might find throwing to him to be irresistible. We think Davis is fine as a No. 1 Fantasy TE worth a pick in the middle rounds. (Updated 05/10/2012). |
