Mason pulled after one ugly period: The Blues pulled goalie Chris Mason for Ty Conklin after one period during Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild. Mason made only four saves before being replaced and put St. Louis in a 3-0 hole. Conklin made 12 saves on 13 shots, but St. Louis couldn't rally for the win.

Mason had won seven of his previous eight games, so it's not like he has been mired in a big funk. He just had an off night. It likely won't kick him out of net. Mason is having a nice second-half run like he did in 2008-09. Still, he remains more of a No. 2 Fantasy goalie. The Blues TG is also a No. 2 option.
