Turco loses lead, pulled Sunday: Stars G Marty Turco couldn't hold onto a one-goal lead midway through the second period Sunday against the Avalanche and was eventually pulled during a 5-3 loss. Dallas went up 3-2 at 7:21 of the second period after Brandon Segal scored twice in t he middle frame. Then, Paul Stastny's power-play deflection at 11:05 of the second period made it a 3-all game, and Chris Stewart's wraparound at 13:46 gave the Avalanche a 4-3 edge despite Dallas' 20-12 shots advantage in the period. At that point, Stars coach Marc Crawford replaced Turco with Kari Lehtonen, playing his third game since being acquired in a trade with Atlanta on Feb. 9. Lehtonen allowed Stastny's second goal in the third. Turco made 14 saves and Lehtonen finished with three.

Fantasy Analysis
It's been tough sledding for Turco since the Olympic break. He is winless in five of his last six appearances, allowing three or more goals in five of those outings. His pre-Olympic surge led Dallas not to trade the veteran netminder and trust him down the stretch. Unfortunately, he hasn't lived up to his end of the bargain. That could open the door for Lehtonen, who is working his way into shape. Turco remains at best a No. 2 Fantasy netminder. The Stars TG is also a No. 2 option.
