Darrius Clemons, a four-star wide receiver in the Class of 2022, gave Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines something to celebrate during the early signing period. Clemson committed to Michigan live on CBS Sports HQ over finalists from Auburn and Oregon

Clemons ranks No. 131 overall and No. 19 among wide receivers in the current recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder from Westview High School in Portland, Oregon, is the top-ranked player in his state. He made two official visits to Michigan since the dead period was lifted on June 1, and also made official visits to Oregon, Auburn, Penn State and USC.

Clemons had 37 catches for 780 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior season. In three years on the varsity squad, he totaled 65 catches for 1,295 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Brandon Huffman, national recruiting editor for 247Sports, provided this scouting report on Clemons:

"Has terrific body control and ability to adjust to all passes, both low and high, with strong hands able to catch everything in traffic. Polished route runner with ability to catch passes in tight spaces. Tough over the middle. Consistently gets separation. Projects as multi-year Power 5 starter and projects as second day pick."

Enjoying its best season under Harbaugh, the College Football Playoff-bound Wolverines also boast a top-10 class for the 2022 cycle.
