Peyton Manning has found ways to keep busy during his retirement. While not on the field as a player anymore, Manning has remained around football as a spokesperson in various promotional opportunities and as an active fan and supporter of Tennessee football.

All of it came to a head on Saturday afternoon in the broadcasting booth when Manning joined Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson during the second quarter of Alabama at Tennessee, the SEC on CBS Game of the Week.

Danielson had a built-in callback to Peyton's DirectTV commercials about retirement for Manning's arrival, donning a bathrobe for what ended up being an entertaining interview as the Vols climbed back into the game with a forced fumble and touchdown.

"Here's the challenge, if he wears the robe in Tuscaloosa next week," Lundquist said.

"I want to see you interviewing Nick Saban in that robe," Manning laughed.

Danielson laughed with Manning about the potential of him becoming a broadcaster, and while Manning admitted he didn't see himself straying far from the routine of the football season, he shied away from committing to a role as part of CBS's football coverage moving forward.

Manning also brought some good luck for the Vols as he got a chance to call both Derek Barnett's forced fumble and Alvin Kamara's touchdown.

"Don't let it get to third down," Manning joked, referencing Tennessee's struggles on the down, as Kamara plowed forward for a score on second down.
