Michigan State DB injured on game winner: 'I'd do it all over again'
Michigan State defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson would go back and live that play all over again even though it resulted in a dislocated and fractured hip.
Michigan State defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson will be a hero in the eyes of Spartans' fans forever. The redshirt freshman was tackled by Michigan tight end Jake Butt near the end of the wild bungled punt, but Watts-Jackson was able to fall forward to give MSU a 27-23 win and seal the wildest ending in series history.
Watts-Jackson landed hard on his hip as he was tackled into the end zone, an injury that was probably not helped by the dogpile of teammates during the celebration. He was carted off the field and underwent season-ending surgery on Sunday to repair a dislocated and fractured hip.
After surgery, Watts-Jackson gave an update for his friends, family and MSU fans. In the note on his Instagram photo, the redshirt freshman said he would gladly do it all over again.

"This morning I had surgery on my hip putting me out for the season," Watts-Jackson wrote. "But if I got the chance I would do it all over again for my brothers. God has a plan for everyone and I will not question any obstacles I encounter on my journey."
