Report: Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough suffered torn ACL in practice
Alabama freshman running back Bo Scarbrough suffered a knee injury during practice Friday.

Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough suffered a knee injury in Friday's practice. What's not known, officially, is the severity of the injury.
According to the Tuscaloosa News, Scarbrough suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of spring practice after surgery.
At this time, Alabama has not confirmed Scarbrough's status or the specifics of the injury.
"You've got to take MRIs and do all those things, so I don't speculate on these kind of injuries," Nick Saban said Friday after practice. "We'll see, and we'll let you know when we find out."
Losing Scarbrough for a significant amount of time would not be good for the Crimson Tide, as Alabama already finds itself a bit thin at running back. Altee Tenpenny transferred after last season, and Tyren Jones was dismissed from the team. With Scarbrough out only Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake received multiple carries for the Tide last season.
The arrival this summer of five-star freshman Damien Harris will help.
As for Scarbrough, he was a five-star member of Alabama's 2014 recruiting class, but redshirted the 2014 season.
