Down two at the end of last quarter, the Houston Cougars have now snagged the lead. Sitting on a score of 47-35, they have looked like the better squad out there today, but there's still one more quarter to play.

RB Ta'Zhawn Henry has led the way so far for the Cougars, as he has rushed for one TD and 127 yards on seven carries. That touchdown -- a 97-yard rush in the third quarter -- was one of the highlights of the game.

The South Florida Bulls have been riding high on the performance of QB Timmy McClain, who has passed for two TDs and 232 yards on 33 attempts in addition to picking up 35 yards on the ground.

This is the most points either team has accured going into the fourth quarter this season.

The South Florida Bulls and the Houston Cougars will face off in an American Athletic clash at 7:30 p.m. ET Nov. 6 at Raymond James Stadium. Houston will be strutting in after a victory while the Bulls will be stumbling in from a loss.

South Florida received a tough blow last Thursday as they fell 29-14 to the East Carolina Pirates. QB Katravis Marsh wasn't much of a difference maker for South Florida; Marsh threw three interceptions with only 192 yards passing.

Meanwhile, Houston beat the SMU Mustangs 44-37 last week. QB Clayton Tune and WR Nathaniel Dell were among the main playmakers for Houston as the former passed for four TDs and 412 yards on 37 attempts and the latter caught nine passes for three TDs and 165 yards.

Special teams collected 14 points for the Cougars. K Dalton Witherspoon delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game. One of the most memorable scores? A 100-yard kickoff return for touchdown from CB Marcus Jones in the fourth quarter.

The Bulls are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Those burned by picking them against the spread last Thursday might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.

South Florida is now 2-6 while the Cougars sit at 7-1.
