The grab was eeriely similar to a former member of the Crimson Tide, Tyrone Prothro, who made a catch over a Southern Miss defender in 2005. The four-yard touchdown capped an 11-play, 85-yard touchdown drive that took 6:17 off the clock for coach Mike Bobo's crew.
Colorado State entered halftime down only 14 to the defending SEC champs.
