Draft Prospect Outlook:

Everything about Deandre Ayton -- his built-out frame, his efficient 3-point game, and his above average rebounding -- screams NBA ready. He's a 7-footer who will be the face of the next wave of the league's unicorns because of his ability to not only operate as an effective big man, but also space the floor using his deep-threat talents.

College Recap:

• Won Pac-12 Player of the Year and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and was named first-team All-American during a dominant freshman season.

• Would be the second Bahamas native to be drafted No. 1 overall, with the first being Mychal Thompson, father of Klay Thompson, in 1978.

• Moved to America before his freshman season in high school, where he spent the first two seasons at Balboa Prep in San Diego before transferring to Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix.
